Sunshine!

29th April 2008

Well it’s actually been raining for the past couple of days, but last week Bradley and I spent the whole day hanging out in the sun. It was such a nice relaxing day, cause ya know us dogs have so much stress to deal with.

You can click on the photos to see our photo galleries.

Unfortunately we have to stay on leashes because we like to run and are too smart about it, and Daddy says that you should ignore the satellite cables on the lawn. He’ll bury them someday.

Oh yeah! That’s The Spot!

23rd April 2008

Well my new daddy has gone and done it. He found the spot on my side that should be labeled “untouchable”. When he scratches my belly in just the right spot I go weak in the knees. I can’t help but fall to the ground so that he can rub my great big belly without anything getting in the way. He told me that my eyes even rolled backwards one time, I enjoyed it so much.

Daddy also started playing a new game with me. He hides some food in the hay, and I get to search for it. I like digging around outside, so at least I know there is something great to look for. What could be better, sniffing around, and finding food! What a wonderful life.

She Scares Me

22nd April 2008

That big black beast mommy and daddy brought home last weekend scares me. They keep telling me that she’s a Pot Belly Pig, and that she won’t hurt me, but I think she’s a big mean dog who’s just waiting to attack me. Ever since I got attacked back in New York I’m not taking any chances.

It may take me awhile to get used to her. I guess I’ll give it a shot though as long as she isn’t allowed to sleep in bed with me. What if she rolled over onto me? I’d be a goner.

I Think I’m in Love

21st April 2008

I’m not sure it this is completely normal, but I’m a cat and I’m in love with Sweet Pea, the new pig. Daddy hasn’t let me talk to her yet, but I can spend all day long staring through the window at her.

I don’t know what it is. She isn’t very attractive, and grace is not something she was blessed with, but even while she sleeps I enjoy watching. I’m hoping that I get to go and spend time with her up close and personal sometime, but for now I’m content.

New Author

20th April 2008

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to take a quick moment to introduce the newest author the The Gang blog.

Sweet Pea is a one year old Pot Belly Pig that we adopted from the Windham Humane Society. She is still getting settled in, but I’m sure she will be posting soon. We have never had any experience with pigs before, but she is extremely sweet and very smart.

Currently, Sweet Pea is residing in the mud room until she has fully adapted to her new home and family. She loves her “dog door” which gives her free access to an outside pen area. She also enjoys going for walks around the property and is comfortable wearing a harness with a leash.

More info to come soon! Welcome to the house Sweet Pea!

The Walls Have Ears

16th April 2008

Hey guys, when I was visiting last weekend and hiding inside the walls I heard Mommy and Daddy talking about going to the Humane Society. Brad, remember what happened last time they did that?

Yup! That’s when Trina moved in. I’m scared. Why did they get new food? What’s coming? Does anyone have an idea?

Weird Phone Calls

15th April 2008

Hey guys, I heard Daddy on the phone today. He kept calling people and asking about something called a harness. I’m not sure what that is, but maybe it’s like the collars we wear. He was talking about walking something. We’ll have to see if Jessica knows anything. Maybe when she was rummaging inside the walls last weekend she heard something. I think our parents are just playing a trick.

Hole in the Wall

15th April 2008

I think trina is on to something. I saw Daddy opening up a hole in the wall!

img_0231.jpg

See that square in the back of the mud room? Daddy took all of that away and now when he lifts up a flap I think was able to see outside. I’m not really sure what it’s for because I had to stay on this side of the glass door, but I think something is going on. Why else would he open a hole in the wall like that? Maybe it’s going to be a secret passage.

New Food?

15th April 2008

Daddy brought home a big bag of animal food today. I don’t know who it is for. He usually gets small bags of food for us dogs and the cats. He always says we don’t eat enough, and if he buys the big bags that the food will get yucky before we eat it. So why did he get a huge bag of this new food? Is he going to force us to eat more? I just lost so much weight. I don’t want to get fat again. I think I may need to get the other pets help to figure out what this is all about.

Bad cat! Bad, bad, bad cat!

9th April 2008

Hi there everyone, Brad here! I would just like to rebut the comments made by Morgan in his last post. “View Here”

There is absolutely no chance that I love to play with him. I can’t stand it! Not only is he abusive and aggressive when he plays, but Morgan is a cat people. It just unnatural for us to play together. You can clearly see that I’m trying to escape from the short-haired tabby, but I don’t want to look like a sissy either.

In an effort to stop the nasty display of inter-species playtime that this cat has shown, I am going to post the shocking truth about cats. Well… at least Morgan. I took this photo of him one day when Mommy and Daddy weren’t around. I hate to be the barer of such disturbing news, and it’s a little shocking, so you are going to have to click below the fold to see the “Smoking Kitty”. Read the rest of this entry »
